Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum is one of the historic sites on the Aviation Trail. It is the resting place of Wilbur and Orville Wright, their parents Milton and Susan and their sister Katharine, who are buried in the Wright family plot. Woodland presents many programs, tours, and events that are open to the public during the year. The following event is posted in the latest Woodland Event News as follows:
If you’ve ever driven through Woodland Cemetery you may have noticed that many of the monuments have the names of many of the streets in Dayton. In this program, we’ll introduce you to the men and women whose streets bear their name and how they contributed to the history of Dayton.
This program will be presented by Angie Hoschouer at the Vandalia Senior Center located at 21 Tionda Dr. S, Vandalia, OH 45377. For more information, please contact the Vandalia Senior Center at 937-898-1232.
