A decades-long effort to produce a practical jet pack for civilian use (or otherwise) is closing in on completion, and the JB-10 by JetPack Aviation could reach customers before the year is out. At least it could reach those willing and able to pay $250,000 to fly like James Bond. JetPack Aviation CEO and test pilot David Mayman, arguably the most experienced jet pack pilot in the world, if not the only experienced jet pack pilot in the world, gave AOPA a briefing on how to fly a jet pack.
