Will Be In Effect From January 19-21 As a result of the planned 2017 Presidential Pre/Post-Inauguration Festivities in Washington, DC on January 19th and 21st, 2017, the FAA at the request of the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Defense as part of the airspace security measures will be modifying the Washington Special Flight Rules Area (SFRA) and Washington Metropolitan Flight Restriction Zone (FRZ) with additional flight restrictions between the hours of 1330 local through 1830 local on 1/19 and 0900 local through 1200 local on 1/21.
