Would Update The Wounded Warriors Federal Leave Act Of 2015, Expand Benefits The Chair of the House Transportation Aviation subcommittee Frank A. LoBiondo (R-NJ) and Rick Larsen (D-WA), the top Democrat on the panel, have introduced bipartisan legislation to close a loophole that prevents veterans hired by the FAA from receiving paid sick leave benefits recently made available by the Wounded Warriors Federal Leave Act of 2015.
