Regular contributor Penny Hamilton submitted this photo and report from the annual fly-in and community breakfast held earlier this month at Granby/Grand County Airport-Emily Warner Field in Granby, Colo.
She reports: “Rain grounded aircraft, but there was plenty of community support as almost as many pancakes were served up as last year and the silent auction proceeds were almost double last year at the EAA Chapter 1267 Annual Fly-in & Community Pancake Breakfast and Aviation Scholarship Auction. Just goes to show that reaching out to the community pays off in many unexpected ways.”
