Pilots Flying Integrated Glass Panel Systems Can Now Fully Complete The Digital Transformation Of Their Panels The FAA has issued an STC to Aspen Avionics for installation of its Evolution Backup Display. It is a fully digital, independent primary flight display (PFD) designed to replace mechanical backup instruments and the associated vacuum system supporting those instruments in Part 23 electronic flight instrument system (EFIS) installations.
