Picture of the Day: Flying over the colorful tulip fields

Jim McGauhey submitted this photo and note: “Each spring there is a tulip festival in Skagit County, Washington. NOTAM has fixed wing flying counterclockwise at 1,000 feet and rotary at 500 feet and clockwise. Note the several colors in the fields under the cowl. Flying my homebuilt Zenith CH-650.”
