Witnesses Report Seeing Pilot Struggling With Door Prior To RV-10 Accident

Pilot Was Fatally Injured When The Plane Went Down November 5 The NTSB has issued a preliminary report from an accident which occurred on November 5, 2016 involving an experimental amateur-built Stamper model RV-10 single-engine airplane. The aircraft N924WY, was destroyed during a postimpact fire following a loss of control shortly after takeoff from Dubois Municipal Airport (DUB), Dubois, Wyoming. The private pilot, the sole occupant, was fatally injured.
