Women in Aviation International will host a regional conference in Seattle, Washington, Sept. 16-17, 2016.
The two-day conference will be held at Seattle’s Museum of Flight and the Seattle Airport Marriott and begins with a tour of the Boeing Company headquarters.
Speakers for Saturday, Sept. 16 include Sherry Carbary, vice president-flight services for Boeing Commercial Airplanes; Andrea Schneider, vice president of inflight services for Alaska Airlines; Suzanna Darcy-Hennemann on her world record flight; Author Colleen Mondor; and the Skunkworks Robotic Team from Seattle’s Aviation High School.
“Seattle is the perfect locale for a regional conference because of its rich aviation heritage,” said Women in Aviation International President Dr. Peggy Chabrian. “We’re looking forward to two days of lively discussion and inspiration, and joining the folks from Boeing in celebrating their 100th anniversary.”
Online registration is available at WAI.org.
