Vashon Aircraft, in coordination with Able Flight, is creating a set of hand controls for its Vashon Ranger so that the airplane can be flown by people with disabilities, Able Flight announced recently. The nonprofit Able Flight hopes to add one additional equipped aircraft to the fleet it uses to train scholarship recipients to become sport and private pilots.
