Abbie Weir submitted this photo and note: “Here is one of the numerous selfies that my dad, Ryan Weir, and I have taken together, but this one is extra special to me. I’m finishing up my tailwheel training in a 1996 Aviat Husky, which has been one of my dreams since I was a little girl. Not only is my dad completing my tailwheel endorsement, but he also has been my flight instructor since day one, as I received my private pilot certificate in October 2021, with my dad with me every step of the way.”
