Contractor Selected For Control Tower At Charlotte Douglas Intl. Airport

Archer Western Selected For The Project Set To Begin This Spring The FAA has selected Archer Western Construction to build a new Air Traffic Control Tower at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Archer Western will build the 370-foot tall structural precast concrete tower along with a 42,000 square-foot Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) base building. Construction will begin in spring 2016.
