EAA publishes family reunion album

EAA Oshkosh: The Best AirVenture Photography

Oshkosh.

A single word, which is also a city in Wisconsin, conjures up feelings like few others among the aviation crowd.

To many, AirVenture – as the Experimental Aircraft Association’s annual fly-in and convention is officially known – is the center of the aviation universe. To others, it is a family reunion. The event that is AirVenture is as personal as it is immense.

So immense, it’s not possible to see or experience it all.

EAA Oshkosh: The Best AirVenture Photography, a new book by EAA’s Jim Busha and Hal Bryan will help fill in a few of the gaps.

Busha is director of publications at EAA and the editor-in-chief of Sport Aviation, Warbirds, and Vintage magazines. Bryan is EAA’s senior editor. Together, they dove into the treasure trove that is the EAA photo archive and assembled a small collection for all to enjoy.
